A new version of my WordPress plugin, AVH Extended Categories, has been released today. A few enhancements have been added and some bugs have been fixed.
What is new since 3.1
- Compatibility issues with upcoming WordPress 3 resolved.
- Bugfix: Description of the groups didn’t save.
- RFC: Replacement & Category Group widget – Option to sort the categories by slug.
- RFC: Category Group widget – Ability to set the widget title per group.

No plans for custom taxonomies yet, but not ruled out. I would need some data to build something around it.
