Version 3.5 the WordPress plugin AVH Extended Categories has just been released.
The plugin is compatible with the WordPress plugin My Category Order, available at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/my-category-order/
This plugin allows you to set the order in which categories will appear in the categories widgets in the AVH Extended Categories plugin. It uses a drag and drop interface for ordering.
