I knew it was just a matter of time before the now famous botnet would try to gain access to my WordPress site too and today it tried. It didn’t gain access for three reasons.
They tried 185 times in the span of 40 minutes.
The conditional logic of Gravity Forms doesn’t really have a build-in option to hide a field from a logged in user, but you can accomplish this with some code.

As I was working on a new WordPress site, I found myself in need of a page on the front end, to edit some user profile settings. Instead of building the form by hand I thought it was easier to use Gravity Forms, but it wasn’t as easy as I thought it was. I decided to write the whole thing down and maybe help somebody out who wants to do the exact same thing.
