git v1.8.2.2 is available for Ubuntu 13.04 (Raring) in my git PPA. When Ubuntu 13.04 was released on April 25, 2013 they shipped it with git v1.8.1.2 and git v1.8.2.x has been out for a while.

git v1.8.0 was released over the weekend and is now available in my repository for installation. git v1.8.0 is available for the following Ubuntu distributions
git v1.7.12 is now available for download in my repository for Ubuntu versions 12.04 (Precise), 11.10 (Oneiric), 11.04 (Natty), 10.10 (Maverick) and 10.04 (Lucid).
It took a bit longer as usual as git v1.7.12 was released while I was on vacation.
