A couple of weeks ago I was getting hit by spam that wasn’t picked up by Akismet and Spam Karma and marking the same kind of message as spam multiple times a day for several days made me look into this combination. I started looking in to different anti spam solutions for WordPress and found three options.

As WordPress released their new version 2.6, I can announce the latests versions of AVH Amazon and Extended Categories are compatible with this version.

Just upgraded to WordPress 2.6, as usual it was a smooth and painless upgrade.

As a user you probably won’t see a difference, but if you do stumble upon something weird on the site let me know please, either here as a comment or on the the AVH Support site

There is a new release of the AVH Amazon WordPress plugin.

Changes:

• Link from widget makes Amazon recognize it as a link from a Wish List. And the shipping address from the Wish List can be used.
• Several bug fixes of files not found for WordPress 2.3.
• Code clean up.
